:D Thursday was a very nice day to be at the lake. Pleasant was very quiet with hardly anyone around, so I dropped off the wife and kids and went for a ride. Just to see how it ran.
Wow, not bad 125 with low boost and no bottle as you can see from the attached picture of the GPS. Here is one of the motor, and one of the boat, 25 Daytona. 6500 RPM, 32 pitch lab prop.
Now I can't wait to see how it runs when I increase the boost and add the bottle.

Very nice numbers!! It is good to see what a blown 598" can do. I am currently running a NA 598" in my 23' cat. This is my first cat and I have always liked the 25 Daytona hulls. Maybe for my next boat (25 Daytona) I can lower my compression a bit and add a 14-71 with a couple of dominators!! Do you know how much HP you re running to get 125? I know 1000 HP is pretty easy with a blown 598"!!!! What drive are you running? That was my only hang up when it came to supercharging a large motor. My NA 23 runs 115. So far it appears the XZ is gonna be just fine with a NA version of a solid roller 598". With a blower my fear is regular drive problems. You are flyin bro and your boat looks great!!! Be careful!!!

With a blower my fear is regular drive problems.
Your not kidding about drive problems? Bravo's are designed by the accountants at Mercury not the engineers.

SVO: Gear ratio is 1:35.
Carrerraboat: The drive is holding up very well, due to using "Pro-Tuff Gear Lube Treatment" by Pro-Blend. I have been using this product for many years and I highly recommend using this with the Mercury High Performance Gear Lube. I have done testing and this has lowered the temperature by 30-40 degrees which keeps the oil from breaking down and causing drive failure.
For those who are interested:
Pro-Tuff Gear Lube Treatment made by Pro-Blend in Winston-Salem, NC
Part #8398
Their tech # is: 336-723-9404
For ordering 1-800-331-9520
For a 16 oz. can it's about $30 but that's a small price when it could save thousands on a drive.
