Evinrude Mechanic - Wanted

Anybody know of an Evinrude Mechanic in the SoCal area that's not too busy. Looks like we snapped a drive shaft on our v8 & our next trip is already scheduled in (2) weeks. ~ Thanks

What shaft are you talking about? The one that goes from the lower unit thru the housing and into the power head? If its just the shaft that needs to be repalced its not so hard of course with the right stuff. I wish I could help either way.

It's the upper drive shaft, but it broke just above the lower shaft under the water pump. The splines of the upper shaft are still stuck in the bottom.
