They almost look like glenwoods, but I also think they put their name on them. I have a set of edelbrocks that look like that and a set a nicson slightly bigger, but I am hanging on to them, dont know why.

It's a 67 Schiada with a 390 low riser heads. This is my friends Ray's boat, he has had it for about 6 months. We don't know much about the engine. We are going to build a 428 for it soon. It has 15 gears in it and came with a three blade prop. We have sence put a 11 1/8 x 15 Stelling prop on it and that made a big inprovement. It's a work in progress and is a fun little flatty!!

Blown428fe I’m not to sure how much those medium risers head’s are worth. I’m not much of an FE man. Do you have a picture of the Edelbrock M-36s? The reason we are looking for a manifold is last summer we got the engine hot and we cracked one of them. We fix it but it’s not pretty. We would like to stay with the same type. We where kind of hoping that some on the boards had a set just like them lying around.

Thats an easy fix....just grind the weld almost flush, file smooth, dress with emory cloth and polish....aluminum is easy to repair. Thanks for the pics, what a cool boat, he should be very proud.

ColeTR1- Whats a set of 427 medium risers worth? All depends on the condition, have they had 25 valve jobs? Any cracks? Medium Risers are prone to crack between the valve seats because of the big valves and there isn't much material between the seats. In alot of cases its cheaper in the long run to just get a set of Edelbrock heads. Unless you are doing a correct restoration and need the stock iron Med. Risers get the Edels.
