I think it will be the end of Artest's and Jackson's career. It looked like a lot of the fans egged it on, but those guys gave a couple of pretty cheap shots!

ungratefull players. If they were not playing ball they would be robbing someone or sweeping the foors somewhere. I think that the involved players should be suspended for the remainder of the season with no pay. Now whats going to pay for there bling bling.. They are nothing but ungratefull street thugs.

god damn piston fans.... i hope stern cancels their next 5 home games. there's no need for fans to get involved like that. i'm not condoning what artest and jackson did by all means, but had that fan not threw that cup at artest the whole incident would have ended after the refs had seperated wallace and artest. damn that shit makes me mad...

Maybe the start of a new career, rolling drunks in Vegas.

Players should never go into the stands but I see why they did it. Fans are outta' control. It is never acceptable to throw anything into a game or onto the playing field or court. Except...your hat in hockey for a "hat trick". The despicable fans who were throwing beer, cups, a chair and punches should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. It is assault - throwing objects like they did. The camera caught so much of the action there should be no excuse for find who the perps were - and...they had to be season ticket seats where the action took place. Those seat holders should have they seat priviledges pulled for eternity. No excuse. The fans that actually went onto the court got everything they deserved and they deserve to be arrested as well and charged with trespass and assault. No leniency.
The sad part is that some of the fans are going to probably get 6 figure legal settlements from the NBA/Arena/Players once the lawyers get involved. Sad. Very Sad.

This is maybe true  about the fans getting a payout
I agree, take away the season tickets, fines etc.
Where was the security when the fans were throwing things :hammer2: if they were in place, it could have been avoided

You're right! The lack of adequate security was appalling. Even after the players were being escorted off the court I failed to see much in the way of security.

It really was something to see....wouldn't have believe it if I hadn't seen it. Stern gave out some pretty ass kicking fines...Artest can now have time for his rap album.
