With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person which almost went unnoticed last week.
Larry La Prise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Pokey", died peacefully at age 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin.
They put his left leg in, and then the trouble started. :2purples:

I wonder how much he made off that song or if he just got ripped off by all the plagerists? sp? How many kids albums did he sell?

Thats what i love about this forum, all of the important things in life are discussed or figgered out right here, NASA ain't got nuthin' on HB'ers!!!!

I'm way too young ( I think) but I still get it.

My first Job around 79-80 was at a skating rink :rolleyes: in the S.F.V. floor guard duty remember it well :rolleyes:

Rich was it at Iceland In Van Nuys, or Topanga Plaza, Pickwick? Valley Plaza?
I used to skate at all those places growing up, played hockey, had a blast.
