I vote we keep slowboat and all his ummm...egos. He's a fellow jetter with the potential to contribute to this forum. Don't get me wrong. I love threads with TRUE and worthwhile jet boat topics...and those are the ones I normally post to. But if people don't want to read or post to a slowboat flame thread, well...they don't have to. If you block slowboat, then block all those who posted to his useless thread.
I think slowboat by mistake let himself get sucked into that whole thing (along with a few others by the way) According to the true(?) and incredibly stupid and geek-like troll definition (still can't believe there's a web site for this), I don't think slowboat qualifies.
Bottom line though, I believe in freedom of expression and if you block his IP...well that should only be used as a last resort.
Just my thoughts.

IP address: If you have a dial-up connection, your IP address is assigned when you dial up and is released when you hang up.We are in a town of 40,000 people with only 3 ISP`s the one that we have our network set up on has 300 cards and on each card there are 250 IP address.You can not pinpoint anyone that uses the same ISP as the ISP is not the IP Address it it the name of the service. To block someone you have to block 250 IP address so then you have just blocked 250 people that use the same ISP.
Now that I have cleaned up that one!

As many of you, we have never laugh so hard at what has been going on. If you look back, We never say or have said anything BAD about anyone or their boat! Yes some of you have said some things about ours, but We take it good..lol..Hey we have some fun with it.
We have put up some Legitimate post`s, like the Big Bowl Shoot out. Yes we have posted some mindless dribble too, Who hasn`t? If I remember right the WAR got started with Dave and it went from there. One thing that I can tell you is that this Guy rr1-001 is for real. He`s been racing all of his life and has nothing to prove to anyone in my books.
If a guy has raced Stock Cars, Monster Trucks,IMCA Mod`s,Drag Cars, Mud Runners and now Boats I`m not going to say anything but can I be a part of it. We have learned a lot about what and how a jet boat work`s and we are trying new things all the time. Some of you might learn from this guy you slam so much. Most of you are happy with the way your boat runs and there is not one thing wrong with that. We however are never going to just be happy, as it can always be better ,faster and safer. When we quit thinking like that it will be time to quit racing.
Yes this Boat has a crew and yes Aggressor has given us their #1300 race pump and
yes HI-techperformance is installing it and doing some R&D work on this boat.That is Legitimate! As far as some of our teem`s post, some of them have been way off of what was going on, as if all racers told you what there were doing you would be doing it too.That`s just racing.You will only know what someone want`s you to know.We know that we need to be Institutionalized but it`s more fun being out here posting like tard`s.

You talk about your input in the Big Bowl shootout, but you weren't even in these forums when that issue was up, it was only slowboat, but I guess you went back and read every post slowboat and rr1/001 made. I really do enjoy your posts Steve and don't want to see any of you go. It's good to see you have such a vast following of dedicated team members, that's something you don't see very often now days. EM&D... btw by blocking a whole class c they would block 254 people, and guess what, they probably wont even use an IP address to block you.
Now on the business at hand, I agree with Jer regarding everyone having a right to reply to the moron's post; but I think I have a better argument to get rid of his sorry ass.
We have all been bitching about wanting more coverage in the mag. Well, if you look at the board the Jet forum gets more replies than rest of the board combined with the exception of the hot spots area. If I were HB and I said "hmmm, maybe we should lend an ear to these guys. let me see what it is they want to hear about". I would then look at our forum. A lot of the longer threads are related to Slowy type antics where someone trolls 50 or so replies out of a worthless post. If it was me, I would discount a good amount of the reply volume based on that observation. Basically, folks like Slowy while comedic do tend to pull down the collective value of the board. My vote is adios senor slowy.
