I was wondering if anyone still used the old wooden featherglide waterskis  I have a couple but it is finally time to replace the bindings and I don't know where to get binding parts if they are still available  Does anyone know where I should go or who I should talk to? Any help would be appriciated

Endo's right there in Long Beach would be the place to start. Very well stocked water ski shop.

Glad to see there's someone out there that still wants to water ski :D ,especially on a classic wood ski :D . When I saw the word Featherglide in your post, I couldn't believe it, I thought I was the only one left that still used one! I have a few of them, but, sad to say after alot of use they finally started to flatten out in the front or break, so, I did the next best thing, we reproduced one! I had the same issue with bindings over the years and it got to a point where I just couldn't find anyone wanting to make the bindings to fit the old aluminum brackets. Here's a couple shots of my "NEW" Featherglide with some real nice HO bindings that I found, doesn't have the classic look, but, they're real comfortable :D :D

Does it get better than this...at the River...in August...behind a 21' Campbell...on a Featherglide...don't think so

I still do. I have 2 Andy Clarks, a Murdock and a Maha.
I cant understand why people would ski with anything else.

Thank you for your replys. I always take sh*t from my friends for skiing on the "log" as they call it. Being that I am only 30 they think the ski should not be older than I am. Anyways thats what I learned on and that is what I think feels the best. My aunt got one for christmas in about 1965 and she was getting rid of it after sitting in her rafters for years. The bindings are a bit shot but the ski is perfect and I am cleaning it up a bit for next year. thank you for your help.

This thread made me smile. ;) I to still have my Featherglides (2). It's a rare site to see anyone ski let alone on one of these.
