Just curious about his winnings, does he get partial payments along the way, or collect all at once when he's done?

A: Most of this firm's 70,000 seasonal white-collar employees work only four months a year.
Q: What is H&R Block?
Jennings answered "What is Federal Express?"
Why in the hell would he say Fedex?

That was my guess, "seasonal" made me think of Holiday shipping.

Heard the question on the radio this morning. For me the tipoff was "white collar". Seemed easy to me.

It was released from a news agency several months back that he had lost and his total earnings were 2.5 mil. They tape several shows a day and far in advance. He actually lost back in September.
News of Jennings' loss, in his 75th game, was first reported on a blog called Kottke.org, the tip coming from someone in the "Jeopardy!" audience on Tuesday (Sept. 7). The trade magazine TV Week confirmed that Jennings was indeed done with sources close to the show.
A spokesperson for Sony Pictures TV, which produces the long-running game show, wouldn't say for the record whether Jennings' run had ended. "[W]e have never disclosed whether a contestant has won or lost before a show has aired. We have no intention of changing this policy," the spokesperson tells TV Week.
Wednesday's (Sept. 8) edition of "Jeopardy!" marked Jennings' 41st win, raising his total prize money to above $1.38 million. He reportedly leaves the show with more than $2.5 million in total winnings.
