Any ideas on what is out there? Some files i have on my hard drive have very long endings where it just silent. There are others where it will go into the next song and then cut off.

If you know how to use the news groups check out:
alt.binaries.multimedia.utilites
Sound forge makes some good stuff. Cake walk is good also. If all you want to do is get rid of the dead time at the end of a mp3 just do a search on one of the big shareware sites and you will find something. If you want to do serious editing check the above newsgroup. People will be talking about the different software and you will probably find something you like.

N-track Studio
Cool Edit Pro
Cakewalk
Even the new Nero Burning ROM V.6 has editing features.
I believe V.5.5.7.9 has the feature also .
Heres a freebie I just downloaded and tried out on Windooze XP .Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/windows.php)
there's also downloads for Linux and Mac.
hope that helpz
