I gotta go with northwood's as well!
You know, you can buy the cheese spred(and bread) from them and take it home and make your own.We do and it's just as good! Also some markets offer it too. And for those that like their blue cheese salad dressing you can buy that there too!

Northwoods is Awesome! Been going there since I was a kid. You can make a meal out of the salad and bread alone. Along with a few Cadilac Margy's of course. ;)

I was there last week. They are moving the boat to where the "Steak and Stein" is or for you Old Skoolers "The Golden Cock". They are tearing down all the little stores that made up Clearman's village.

I agree with Northwoods...but I really like it from The Boat (Clearman's Village/Northwoods in Arcadia).
Also love the jalapeno-cheese bread from Schaats Bakery (fresh from the oven in Bishop CA). :rollside:

My vote goes to Northwoods. I have not been there in a while. I can go there and just eat there cheese bread and cabage salad for dinner. Damn, that is some good stuff.

Long ago used to be affiliated; there were two groups that were involved with the restaurant. The group parted ways and Mr Clearman continued to own his store in Long Beach on 2nd Street and the group owned the rest, something like that. Then he eventually closed that. Patti was related (iI forget how, wife, niece) and she started the gig up in Parker...1st at Strokes location, and then at Clearmans.. Now out of bus...kind of bummer..was pretty good for Parker.
