What do you do to beat the Winter Blues?

I was talking about this to a buddy yesterday. I don't think I'm alone when I say that in Winter it is really difficult for me to get motivated and even enthusiastic about anything. Yeah, once I get off my ass and start a project I am good to go, but the walk from the bed to the garage seems like 10 miles, and the tools in the garage ARE ICE COLD. What they hell does a guy do? I am thinking about installing a coffee bar in my bedroom....

I will be at the river next weekend. Then the desert for new years. and then I was offered a job in Belize for that will hold me over until river season. Building a casino by the beach. Normally this time of year I would be working on the boat every night but it is close to being done so I am not completely tearing it down this year.

Go out in tha garage, fire the heater, go back in mix a drink, walk out to the garage drink the drink by then it is warm, thrash till buddies show up with beer, stand around and bullshit while looking at car, turn off heater, change and go to bar and bitch about the weather.

I write to my NorCal buds here on the boards, make the 10am call to launch on a sat or sun, throw on jeans & a jacket, and we let the boats rip. It may be a bit chilly at times, but boating is always fun with a crew. Boating is life, the rest is details & that's the way I like it. :cool:
