You should try out. My wife did in Havasu a couple years ago. She is pretty quiet. She said the were picking the outgoing not at all shy types. I think you could do it. She said it was fun just doing the casting call.

They would be freaking fun. That is stuff I'd pay to do. You always have safety restraints or something on anyway so nothing will happen to you.
