And a nice Commander at that!!! Good luck with the sale..... Very clean ride and even better with the I/O. What motor is in it???

I am still pumped on the Commander Rev., it may not be as nice as a lot of the customs out there but I couldn't be happier, o.k. maybe I would be a little happier if the colors were a little different ;) . I am just bummed I didn't get it until the end of the season. Did you hear they drained Piru? Is that true? If they did I hope they fill it back up soon so we can get a couple Sunday trips out there!
As far as the old boat goes, it has the old mag 350 which was rated at 265hp, and to be honest it performs great. It pulls skiers well and tops out at a little more than 60mph.

Whats wrong with the colors? As I remember there was some nice pink lines in it :D :D Be proud of the pink!! I know I have to be on mine !! :D :D

That's a clean boat, would be excellent candidate for a little 144 blower :)

Speedin' Ian
02-07-2005, 11:54 AM
I agree completely, drop a small blower on this boat and it would scream, the best speed I've seen is 64mph, so I am sure a little blower would push it into the mid to high 70's

Sorry it took so long to respond. We are headed out for presidents day. I can't wait. Its only been 4 months but it feels much longer. Let me know if you want to come out.

You lucky bastard!! I still have almost two months until my first trip, I would go on president's day weekend but I'll be in Vegas for Valentines so I told my girlfriend we would do something nice on that weekend, thanks anyways. Let me know the next time you head out though.

I have $7000 cash right now---yes or no?

Speedin' Ian
02-09-2005, 12:12 PM
7000.00 - No, 8000.00 - Yes
Thanks for the offer, but this boat is way to clen to let it go for that price, especially with the current prices of boats in this market

No problem, thanks for the reply. Turns out I picked up a VERY similair Bahner with a jet.

Come on guys and gals the weather is changing there has to be someone out there that wants a clean boat for less than 9k. If anyone can think of a major reason why this thing isn't selling let me know. I compared my price to comporable boats, so I think it is pretty fair.

how does it take chop....?

Did you put an ad in the boat trader?

Speedin' Ian
03-10-2005, 12:43 PM
It takes the chop pretty well, obviously it is only a 21' boat, so it doesn't handle it as well as my 25' Commander, but I have made it through some rough conditions. In a moderate chop I just trim it up and it skips along the top.

I did put an add in during the winter, but now that the weather has come around I need to do it again

That's a nice looking boat. I have an 87 Sleekcraft with a Tunnel-V, same setup as yours. You should get 8 grand for it, IMO, that's what I'd let mine go for.

Thanks for the kind words! I agree it is very clean and would make someone a great boat
