Eww just barely clicked off an 1100.Proved alot of people wrong. :D
917 ft.lbs. at 5000 & 1100 horse, that should get the job done.
Air was probably good today? What was the difference in correction?

Really, I can' twait to meet you out there. It is a really good time and as much as we all harrass each other, we all stick together pretty well. It will be good to add a few new faces this year.

dave, I have a longer belt and some bigger pullies for the bottom. You are welcome to try them if you want. I used to run 42 / 60 on my 8-71.
I think I still have 59, 60 & 61. Just sitting on the shelf now that Cyclone's done with them.

It takes a LOT of HP to turn a PSI. He should ditch the blower and go injected turbo :) Seriously though, I'd say a 14:71 is PLENTY for what he wants to do. His motor is only a little over 500ci.

ok, fine twenty says he goes and get a 14-71 before june. you know he can't stand to know that there's more power to be tapped. he'll try to wait,but.... blah blah blah. won't happen. that motor would handle it nicely  maybe i'm syain' to much playin' the devil advocate  :D

Motor was built back in Michigan.Dan Nelson of Jett Performance told the guy what parts to use.It was suppose to have a PSI on it.

How much power is too much power for that boat? At 1100 are you running a double A impeller? That thing should go 60 @ 2500 rpm!!! Jack told me not to put my twin turbo motor in mine. Said it would be a potatochip upside down with 950hp. Duttweiler 468 1375hp with really small turbo's. Good luck with it be safe.

Dave the video was great. But it sounded like it was running alittle fat on the fuel. Can you give any cylinder temp's or were those egt's just for look's.Not slamming the pull it's just my .02 cent's.Oh yes if you want to try my PSI i think we could figure put a way to make it happen. It does take alot of hp to run a PSI but you get more in return.Again DAVE congrat's to you and i can't wait to see ya on the water this summer.LATER!!!!!!

That tune up with this air temp would burn it up in 1000ft.Air fuel was at 12.3.Tom and Steve said to lean for blower motor. Will be ok when air temp is 80+ degrees.

Dave the only reason i asked was my pyro reads 1400 to 1450 degree's on AVgas at wide open throttle.Just at idle it's 900 to 1000 degree's.I didn't see the temp's on the dyno sheet.I was just wondering about what they were.Thank's DAVE.LATER!!!!!!
