Andy I just started a new job with a different company so Im waiting to make sure everything goes good.I should be in it within 2-3 months if everything at work goes good.Or maybe sooner if this dam rain would quit,its killing me at work!!! :rolleyes:

The boat has a HP500EFI with a Max machine worx drive on it.Alot of nice upgrades and has been taken very good care of.Tripple axle trailer,dual external steering,and all the nice little details that DCB does.The guy that owns it(A friend of mine)is very anal about taking care of his stuff.
It all depends on how busy I get at my new job.Crossing my fingers that everything goes well,then plans of a whipple set up will come into play soon after........If I cant catch RacingRascal after that then a very large NOS unit will be applied....... :D :D

I'll be back out there this weekend and should get the 4 hours needed to open it up. Are you headed out there this weekend? I may drop it in Parker on Saturday.

Yes. That is the green machine.. The picture was taken in front of DCB just before last years show. DCB is actually in front of the boats.

unfortunately it is going nowhere fast. I picked it up with no engine, But it will be getting my turbo engine I am keeping out of the Warlock.

is there an advandage to having a turbo vrs a blower? just curious. Congrats on the new DCB! our next step will be a MACH26. I love the deep freeboard and the built in coolers ofcourse. Who owns the 26 open-bow that was at the LA show? That was awesome!!!! How long till its finished?

Still trying to make that decisson, Turbo vs Blower. I do like the no sound issue with the turbos kinda miss the big cam sound of a blower motor though. My warlock was refered to as the sillent missle by the big HP boys. I really like the torque curve of the turbo setup, feels good.
Although I Dont have much Blower experience to compare to, maybe this summer i will hook up some rides in some blower boats.

The graphics were pretty close to you, but I don't remember if it had the purple...I forgot who built the motor, but he maintains it himself..I think it was around or more then 900HP, and he was running over 113-115+...I am having a tough time remembering, but I do remember he was running faster than most..

100-105 is fast enough for me...once you catch Liver, you will want to catch Charlie and then SVO..and that is a lot of money to catch folks...If I had changed the engine in the Mach, I would have either bought GT's 540 Whipple or went with Infomaniac's 705 N/A...both would have gotten me to where I want and hopefully would not have broken too many drives getting there....If you want to catch people, then it would be better to start with a solid and huge N/A motor that would put you around 105 and has low compression, so you could blow or quad-whipple later when you have more money, and then go 115-120..just a thought.. :)

That guys name is Chris, I met him once or twice in the channel. He's friends with HavsuCig. The motor did start out as a Blosdale, but if I remember right, Chris went all through it himself last winter. It is a real solid runner, 110-115.

That boat is owned by Chris. It is a nice ride. He told me last year that he ran 119 mph. He was having all kinds of motor problems but I think he got it all worked out now. I think the hp is north of 900. You can find Chris and his Mach in the channel on most weekends. If you see him, tell him I said hello.

It is a 2001, New 800 hp blower motor (he recently spent 20k on the motor), loaded. Extremely clean boat, the guy is into street rods and really mantained the boat.
He said he wants 81k. If anybody is interested I will pass along his number. The boat is in Havasu.

I never had a chance to really dial it in. We were still messing around with props after the gear change. The best I saw was 105, but I think it had another 5 mph in it.
I don't know what the boat is running now. I guess he ended up cracking the block, along with some other problems. He salvaged the blower and intercooler, but the rest of the motor is brand new.
He wants to downsize, and wants something that he does not have to spend so much time cleaning.
If I had the $$$ I would buy it back and leave it at Havasu, and the Cig would stay here.

I am not sure what he is looking for exactly, but I know he wants something that requires less mantanience. Just the motor alone on the DCB was a pain in the ass to keep polished.
