There's been a VERDICT for a while now - GUILTY.
What was being deliberated was a SENTANCE.
Thanks for the heads-up either way! :D

The problem I have is now this is case law. So now you don't need evidence to convict and that is scarry.
In OJs trial they had a ton of hard facts and evidence !!!!
When I saw the crouds in Redwood City even if he was found inocent they would have convicted him. To keep the peice.

He will be safer in solitary confinement death row, than being in the general prison population.

As horrific of a crime as it was, it was still unsettling to me to watch that newscast. I dont even know how I feel right now. There was absolutly no reaction from either family or Scott.
Its sad any way you look at it.
No one wins but maybe Laci's family can move on. Now starts the pain for the Petersons.

Guess he hired the wrong attorney should have had Johnny Cochran on his deffense. If the glove dont fit you must aquit!
On the other hand it scares me that they were able to convict him and sentence him to death based on completely circumstantial evidence. That is pretty scary in my opinion.
I think Scott Peterson killed his wife but I dont feel that they were able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he was in fact the killer. So is thinking someone did something enough of a reason to sentence them to death?

Sh!t we still use sticks stuck in the sand out here, you should see all the people freak when its dark or cloudy. :D
Not that he did or didn't do it, but I'll bet he knows why it went down, just like OJ did, and if he says anything they'll just go after the next one in line. Old School pay backs. Not right or wrong but somebody's not talking for a reason.

You are correct. He will be placed with inmates that they believe he will be compatible with(other death row killers) seperated from the general population. Somehow I don't think he will survive prison though........which would be a good thing.

Attually I think he will be fine. See he Got Screwed Big Time !!! And all the inmates in the world know this, and they are scarred too.

Its really too bad that its not over. The public will still have these stupid newscasters hipping his cause for years to come. His appeals are guarenteed by this death sentence, automatic, and his "stupid, incompetent lawyer" isn't as dumb as we think. His actions have added fuel to the appeals fire. And as Boozer said, he will live alot longer than we think. I'm sick of it every time any news is on......It will dominate the news for days to come, dammit................................MP

2) When did Laci Peterson die?
3) Where did Laci Peterson die?
just my .02 but alot of questions unanswered to put a man to death.

According to a network morning "infotainment" show, California has literally hundreds of deathrow inmates awaiting their ultimate fate. Peterson could quite possibly live out his worthless natural life behind bars before his date with the death syringe arrives.

I realy doubt that his family had the cash to pay for Johnny Cochran. Besides, Peterson is white.
