Annual Chili Cookoff at Lake Pleasant

As usual there will be the chili cookoff at the Lake Pleasant ten lane ramp January 1st. I know some of you will be nursing hangovers but if you can make it, it will be a good time. Lots of food...of course you can try your hand at making the best chili. And for those of you who are brave enough, bring some beer etc. Last year we had more than fifty people show up and the chili was excellent. Bring your boats too if the weather is nice. Nothing like getting in another speed run. I'll be there around 10:30am to fire up the stove.

Lake Pleasant is northwest of Phoenix, AZ about 30 miles or so. We've been going out there for the last 5 years and a bunch of people come out and cook chili.
