Anyone got any bikes in their garage collecting years of dust? I am looking for something probably in the early to mid 80's. 500cc or larger (I'm chunky...) Preferably something that does, or did run, and has all it's pieces. Email or PM me if you think you have something.
THANKS!!! :rollside:

I have an '81 Honda CX 500 Custom with full fairing and bags, runs good, brakes and tires are top notch, but uphostery and chrome are rough. I ride it to work and back in Tacoma and get 46-48 mpg. Rode it from Oklahoma to Oregon and back in '92, and would not hesitate to long haul it again right now, if the weather was decent. Would take $800 for it as is (current Oregon tags, ready to ride), and would throw in all the spare stuff (engine, swingarm/diff, etc, etc,). Could load it in the truck and meet you in Kalamath Falls, Or, if you are interested. Not sure how many miles it actually has as I have had to change the speedo 3 times due to internal failure, current speedo shows 64K, but should be around 50K though.

How about a 99 Honda CBR 600 that needs some cosmetic work ? Its a great bike, it has 11k miles on it but it needs a stator cover, a water hose and a good amount of cosmetic. How much are you willing to spend ?

Ducky, I tried to run the boat by your shop on Friday and no one was around. I didn't have your number. I talked with Ron @ Upholstery Specialties next door. He has a nice shop and I checked out a little of his work. Maybe next time.

Too bad I didn't see this thread a week ago. Just got rid of a '95 Kawi ZX6 for a grand. Looked good, had a yosh pipe, and ran like a champ.

My buddy bought his bike there and it ran great. They all have salvage titles which of course makes them cheaper to buy. They buy crashed bikes and then fix them to new. His bike ran better than my identical bike that I bought from Berts in Azusa. I hate Berts.
