can you leave the coach plugged into shore power indefinitely w/o any harm to the batteries? i have asked this question many times and can never get a straight answer. i am also considering an inverter for the coach, any recomendations? Thanks.

I know on our alfa we can leave it plugged in indefinitely. but the charging system will automatically stop charging the batts when they are full.

WW uses IOTA chargers and they do not come with the Smart Charger installed at least up to 2006 models. You can buy the Smart Charger adapter that plugs into the charger. It is ~25bucks.... if you leave it plugged in it will fry your batterys without the Smart Charger!! If you need more info let me know :rollside:

I left mine plugged in and it fryed the batt's. Lesson learned. If your plugged in you should't need the batt's. I now have a disconnect switch

Like said before if you leaved plugged in it with fry the batteries unless it has the smart charger. The IOTA one runs about $40.
