That is a Glen-L "Tornado", it's an all wood boat you get the plans and patterns or a frame kit and build it yourself, that's what the name implies!. Looks like he did a bitchin job!..

We have an all wood ( kit ) boat like that. It's alot older though. Been in my grandparents garage for the last few years. It's got a hemi in it and it was the boat I learned to ski behind. I was told that it used to be used as a tow boat for a water ski show down in San Diego years ago. As for this guys boat doing 90 on GPS, I call bullsh@# :hammerhea

It looked like a old stevens with a 427 chevy. I sat and talked to this guy for a bit and the guy really thinks his stock 427 will run 125mph all day long :eek: :eek: When he got out of the boat he was still had on his orange over your head kind of life vest!!

I like it when I run into people that claim their stock powered boats will run triple digits. Thats when I whip out my handheld GPS and over it to them to use it to go make a pass. Usually they turn down the offer.
