i allways have a good time there and it looks like it's the only place you can run a boat with o/t headers on the west coast anymore.

<<Attend a previous event>>
Gee, that would make it a little tough to get invited for a new guy.
It seems a shame for a completely orginial 1978 Hallet v drive mini cruiser in prefect condition which is normally packed full of ice cold beer to be left out just because the owner never wanted to go before..................

OR
You could call LISA at IRVINE LAKE and ask them! 714-649-9113
Last year you had to call and request an application form ,then they will mail or fax or E-mail it to you ,then you send back w/photo of boat(to prove it is a v-drive) and $$ then they tell you ya or nay.It is first come first served I belive! Not who has the best boat. I did all this over the computer and was told the same day I was accepted.
Now go get'em! :D

As of yet IRVINE LAKE has not said anything about 2005 !
I have heard they have kicked it around, but nothing serious yet.
Last year it was the second or third weekend of june. It was to be a two day event sat/sun for $75 but ended up a one day(sun)only for $50.
They tried to make a two day and were going to provide a band if enough people sign'd up for both day's.I hope they get more folks interested to try it again for 2005.
CALL.......CALL.........CALL........I think they want or need people to show interest, besides! for the $$$ they make off of a day of fishermen on that lake compared to 50 v-drive's at $50/75 ea it's gotta be a money maker!

Yes, we are having our v-drive regatta the second weekend in June. It will be a two day event again and will be a sell out as its limited to 50 boats. For those that have attended in the past info will be sent out sometime in early March.
Thinking about having a get together at the lake in February to talk v-drives and having a high performance swap meet. I know ffrom experience I have alot of extra parts that I would like to sell........Let me know your thoughts.......

One thing...If there becomes a time when there are 50 members that have previously attended, then does that mean that no new people would be allowed to attend?
