Installed a new Cannon CanoScan Lide 35 Scanner.
If I use the direct e-mail button (on the scanner)...it won't let me send the file direct.
Turns out I need to set up my Windows/Microsoft for "outlook express" supported by "MAPPI" ????

Not funny....are you saying HP Scanner would not need this configuration?

I Dont know anything about Canon, or scanner set up in general - but I just asked my IT guy and he said its not standard with HP to require that, but it depends on the software and what you are running it with.
