We have a few of these speakers. They are a few years old (2000) but they are all new in boxes. Never Used. The have been on a pallet because we used MB Quart in our product line instead of these and never returned them.
We have 6.5" components, 6.5" speakers, 5" coax, 4" coax, 8" woofers and 6" woofers. We have even more components I think in 5".
They are PHD Audiophile Sound Systems brand, made in Italy.
Some have carbon fiber cones.
6.5" components: $45.00 (these were over $100 dealer price)
6.5" speakers(no tweeters): $35.00
5" coax: $35.00
4" coax: $30.00
8" sub: $20.00
6" sub: $15.00
The subs look like previous MTX model subs.
Here are some pictures of the speakers:

5" coax

The 4" coax looks just like the 5" and as I said everything is in boxes, never used.
Shipping is from Gilbert, AZ and is $10/box, West of the Mississippi. Basically, east coast shipping is more.

Not at that price :D
Actually they dont have grills with them. So....... Some billet speaker covers with the screen insert would probably make them even louder :D

No problem. Our shop is off of McQueen and Elliot. Just let me know. I am leaving town for the dunes on Thursday morning, so if not before then, let's meet up next week. If I have my cart around, you can listen to them.
I heard these in my golf cart today(just had them installed) and they actually surprised the heck out of me. I had 2 6.5" components and 2 5.25" components put in and the sound really good (2 sets total). I really like how it turned out.
I can now say that they are quality speakers. This was the pro series. The midgrade series should be good as well.

Got it.
Just found out they installed a 1200 watt (600x2) JBL amp and each speaker is getting 150 watts. It handles it fine.

You can send a check or use paypal. We'll start shipping these on Monday for those paid, so I'll try and get back to each of you on Monday afternoon. I am leaving town tomorrow morning (Thursday) and returning Sunday night.
Sorry for the delay, but I need some time to play at the dunes for new years. :D

JC,
Shop is Wake Designs/Billet Boyz USA
The building would only let us do 1 sign, so Wake Designs is in red on the building. We are on Elliot, just west of McQueen on the North side of the road.
Please call me before you go so I make sure we have what speakers you want.

Gordon's was good, how about Glamis? Sand sucked of Friday, but Saturday was great. Golf cart ride until 3 AM on Saturday night killed me for a lot of Sunday activity.
Check your PM......

I'm interested in the 6.5 components. How do they sound, and do you have any references that you could compare them to? I'm familiar with Infinity Kappas, MB Quart both Reference and Premium lines, JL, Boston, etc. I'm currently running two sets of Infinity 3-way kappa 6x9s. One is blown, and another no longer has a tweeter section (fell apart). At 45 bucks a set, I'm thinking I could replace my 6x9s with 4 sets of 6.5 separates. I am running a four channel amp that is two ohm stable, so running parallel wouldn't be a problem. I like a fairly "bright" and open sounding speaker. Any thoughts?
thanks,
-Brian
ps: Just reread your earlier posts where you talk about the sound quality. If your shop is open on Sat, I'll swing by.

Hey Brian,
If you are ever in Mesa, let me know and I'll let you listen to them. I have a few so if it is within the next 2 weeks, I should still have some. I installed 2 5.25" and 2 6.5" components on the golf cart and put 150 watts to each of them. Haven't blown one wither and I crank them pretty hard. They actually sound pretty good. I wouldn't say they are as good as the Quarts, but they are better than every average speaker out there by far. They don't have any speaker covers with them, but we can fix that. ;)
Our shop is in Gilbert if you want to check them out, but the only pairs in operation right now are on my g-cart.

I could come out this Sat if the shop has weekend hours. Weekdays are tough for me to get out that way.
Thanks,

We have them, and we should have some in 2 weeks when you get back. No time right now to sell them with all the boat shows going on.... So we can do the paypal deal when you get back. I'll make sure we keep 2 pairs for you just in case. Shoot me a PM when you get from DC.

I still have some. We are in Gilbert(McQueen/Elliot), but at the AZ Boat Show all week/weekend, so we can help you out with whatever you need next week.
