Time to get Info Jr. a new motorcycle. He is bottoming out the shocks on the XR 80R we got for him earlier in the year. Either that or upgrade the rear shock. Just playing around in the woods today. He has cleared some pretty long gaps at the motorcross track.

He is a cool kid.
I have been working him here at the machine shop during Christmas break. Started him in the engine area and he has migrated to the CNC shop. Cannot get him out of there. LOL

get the 85 and he'll be out of it within the next 6 months. Get the 125 and you've at least got a year or two until you've got to hook him up with a 250. :2purples: scary thought huh. :D

I agree. Although the 85 will have much better suspension that that XR, it's just not enough.
There was a 12 year old last weekend that was airing out his yz85 and the suspension just soaked it up. I think it will be the next bike for my 10 year old daughter. They sure do grow out of the bikes fast!

No need for a new shock. I think dad just needs to get out the shovel and build a nice smooth landing transition about 30' out. :D

LOL actually we are respecting this area. It is a bike jump. The take off is straight up for about 2 feet. Launches you up and not out. We are taking it easy so not to trash the lip of the jump. We used to hate it when motorcycles came back there when we were biking. But never saw any of them take this jump. :notam: Info Jr could launch his Dirt jumping bike pretty well off of this one.
