Just got off the phone with Gary from Camp Far West. The water is coming up fast now! He wanted me to ask everyone not to fire ANY boats after 10 p.m. & not before 7 a.m. The people that live around the lake are starting to complain about the noise to the Water Dist. We sure don't want to lose are place to run the boats! The noise travels a long ways across the water if you think about it, thanks!

My priediction for the future...... With all the new homes popping up all around Camp Far West, We are going to lose the last of the "no noise restictions" lake. Same thing has happened at Hogan Dam by my house. No more fun for YOU :cry: :mad: Can we stop the growth out there :idea:

This is StonyGorge resevoir. The town of Elk Creek sits just below the dam and can hear everything and the Sgt. of the boat patrol lives in that town. Not a good idea without mufflers. Oh ya and if has #'s painted on the side they won't let you launch.
