This boat is set up perfectly and it has lots of goodies..it is as good as the pictures make it out to be..have seen the boat running on Lake Lanier in Ga and the attitude was great..wish it was within my budget..I think that he may surpass Tobtek for neatness, cleaniness and performance :D

Hey Ron-----I've never seen you on here before. How's the house coming at Martin? Looking forward to seeing it this summer. CC
P.S. We're ditching the big Detroit iron and joining the wacker crowd :hammerhea

Glad you guys are all settled in. Very nice place to have a home. We're definately looking forward to making a few trips over there this summer. You know whose boat this is....right? It is in excellent condition and runs well. We love Cougars....we just wanted to stay with the canopies of the Daytonas. So we got another 26 but with wackers. After June this year there will be no more 300x's. In fact after talking to Merc they seem to think if you don't have an order in by mid-March forget about it. Federal mandate on them........gone! I'd hate to have to hang an extra 400 lbs (pair)of the Verado-YUCK! on the transom----so we had to jump on a new boat a little faster than we wanted to. Also, I find it a little hard to believe that a 4 stroke (Verado) can run 5500 rpm(or more) for as long as a 2 stroke can and live very long to tell about it----might as well mount my 575 sideways with a dry sump! Well, we sure jacked this thread....talk to you later. CC
