It is street legal, did the DMV stuff with no problems, suprisingly!
It has a Jenkins built 434 CI small block. 786 HP on the motor. Big cam and heads and 14:1. Even has a Hogan sheet metal intake. The car ran the qtr in 9.23 @ 148 MPH on the motor thru the mufflers. Will be hooking up the Nitrous and adding wheelie bars for the super chevy meet. The car should run low 8's on the bottle. Not bad for a small block....

I just picked up a '67 4dr. just like yours (well a little rougher :wink: ) I am putting in a well warmed over 327 on NOS , 350 Turbo/3500 stall and 4:56 gears. Only will have 2 seats and cage on interior ...it is also Black
Not near as pretty as yours :eek:
But I am after a Sleeper look , hence the 4dr style....2dr.also = $$$$$$$
you got one nice ride there Don , a buddy of mine in Houston Tx. has a '66 2dr. tubbed and all like yours he Bought from Ken Caminetti (ASTROS player) with Nascar SBC2 engine

Yup. Did not due to the fact that it has a spool in it. The 18's are stressing the axle bearings on the street enough...

A buddy of mine at work has an EXCEPTIONALLY clean '64 Nova convertible. I have been working on him for years to hop it up :devil: and he's finally ready to go the warm crate motor/subframe route. He'll love to see these pics!
