dose anybody elese have problem with them cutting out .i thought they were supose to be good .is the antena supose to be mounted on the out side of the tuck ? or on the inside ok .i got the direct one to my clarion dvd head unit .

If the antenna is not mounted outside of the truck you wil have problems with reception. There are a lot of shops that mount them inside or on the dash to save time, but it will cut out more often.

I have mine mounted to the outside of my truck, and it also cuts out. Not alot, just sometimes. I figured it was just the cloud cover, or bad weather.

I got Sirius for my wife for Christmas and we drove all the way from Georgia to Mass with it and the only problems we had with cutouts was from some highway overpasses and when we drove through the Holland and Lincoln tunnels in New York. I have a portable attenna that I attached to the roof.
