Willie....what you should do is buy this 26, sell your 29. Pocket 100 plus thousand dollars and pay cash for 80% of the new place @ H/S! ....just a thought
Jrocket.....I spoke to chris and Jody about this boat, and we are pretty sure its the same one. possible that the new owner didnt like the painted cowl's??? I hear the guy has three high performance boats...and $$$$ is no object.

It's definitely our old boat... we had modified the original dcb design and moved the red back a bit. Too bad the matching cowlings are gone. :(

NO on the AZ, the boats in GA.....they are asking 66K for it. The biggest kink is getting it to CA, the cheapest quote is over 5K to get it here. And the insurance ofcourse. Kills me to pay the same ins for a 2000 with 2.5's as a 2005 with a GT marine 640hp......ins companies are lame :burningm:

Have it delivered to AZ and no problems taking delivery....you can't even get 300x's in Cali, and you should be able to get shipping to AZ for less around 2k or a Plane flight and rental truck should be alot less; I priced a Skater being delivered here from Florida two years ago and it was around 1800 on the low side. Also, I am sure 2005 with GT power will be more expensive upfront, and after 20K down on the 2000, it will be much less to insure....replacement cost is a big factor in the insurance equation......

every quote I recieved was very close! a tick over 4K for a brandnew 05 with a 120K replacement value or the 2000 with TWIN OUTBOARDS...both open bow FAMILY boats :p for 3200-3500....pretty close premium for half of the replacement value.......

Hmmmm...if my replacement value were to be half, my premium would go down by 35%, at least that is what I was quoted...800-1000 less a year on insurance is significant, specifically when that 2000 with OB's will outrun that 05 with half the monthly payment and 25-35% less insurance...still seems like a great deal to me.. :)

That is definitely our old boat. That was a great driving boat (when it was not broken). At 55k It is tempting to buy it back, but I think a pontton is in our future instead.
I wonder what the guy did with the old cowlings??? They cost a few $$$ to get painted.

thats a great looking boat! Funny though how the 2.5's look small on the back! So used to seeing the big 300's back there......wish I could swing it and the new house.......but id have a nervous break down trying to afford it all.....maybe I'll win the loto tonight, and just go right to a NORTECH and stop playing around :D
