Happy new year to all. Just got back from the yearly trip to Texas.
Had an excellent time meeting up with rrrr and his wife. Ron and Fonda,
Thanks for a wonderful time. Next time dinner is on us. We had a great time and need to do it again.
All I can say about Texas is that there are some serious lakes that I want to bring my boat to. Looks like some cool boating there. Especially around Marble Falls and Buchannon Dam.
Took the kids to see Carlsbad Caverns and they loved it. Then took 40 back to CA from there. Oh what fun to drive through Flagstaff yesterday... Not even.
But we made it with the shiny side up, unlike a semi that passed us and later we saw rubber side up in the ditch..
Stopped in Kingman fro breakfast.. River Kitty, The boys absolutely loved their bags and hats. Something I thought would get mild enthusiasm from them was lous screams of Ohhh, I always wanted that... Thank you RK.
