Roosevelt has come up 15' in the last week and change. No small feat as that's a big lake. Hopefully this trend continues. :D
Correction, as of today, it's up 17' :jawdrop:

Chance of more rain instead of snow for us this weekend. If that happens again and melts the snow we just got, the water is going to be rippin off the hill and it might not be good.

The storms tonight are suppsoed to be warmer than the last one, at least initially. The one on Saturday and Sunday is suppoed to be a cold one.

Lake Data:
Dec 1:
Roosevelt Elevation: 2,076.01 Feet remaining: 74.99 Percent full 29%
Jan 10th
Roosevelt Elevation: 2,095.13 Feet remaining: 55.87 Percent full: 43%
Our total Salt River system (which includes Horseshoe and Bartlett, as well as Saguaro, Canyon, Apache and Roosevelt) is at 54% capacity. This time last year we were at 41%
Roosevelt is the only one that really affects us because it's such a big lake they keep it as low as possible and keep the 3 lakes below it pretty much as full as possible to stave off evaporation.
Little bit more trivia, they raised the dam more than 10 years ago, and to this date, the contractor hasn't been paid because the water hasn't been at a level to make sure that the project will be successful. How would you like to be that contractor with a hundred million or so just hanging out in the breeze waiting for rain? :(

Here's some interesting reading on the projections for Powell this Spring & Summer. These high mid-week flows really suck, supposed to last through April.
