Theres got to be someone on the boards that stores there boat there. The ones in the far back look okay but everything else looks ruined. Guess thats a good reason to leave the plugs in the boat even in storage. There are a couple floating which still have PVC on them, fricken crazy

IM Sure the insurance will be handled by the BOAT OWNERS themselves.....it allways seems to end up that way. I HOPE im wrong AGAIN.

I wonder if the insurance will pick up the tab if it due to "rising flood water's" not sinking...unless you have flood insurance on your house they will not pick it up.....just not sure on acts of nature which pertain to flood...anybody have a clue on Boat insurance....btw...those pix are gut wrenching...?

C-mon you know that those people sign a release form that Castaic B and M isn't responsible. Maybe something like this will say what kind of guy the owner is.

He's actually a good guy,I don't see him leaving people in the cold.(no pun intended) what about the homes to the left? any damage?

That's good to hear. I have never dealt with him, I've just bought a few odds and ends there and def didn't mean anything against him. There was a small mudslide that covered the road between the boat storage and the houses. The houses are higher though and that saved them from damage. The nursery to the north is effed though. There were potted plants that floated all the way to the boat shop.

Sorry to hear that. My glass work was done there and it looks great. Can't tell where it was repaired.

I guess I wasn't clear - the work was ok but they left a mess of glass fabric, wood and junk in the boat. That was several years ago and I am still upset about it.

OK. So, ever since I've had boats, I've stored them (in or outside) with the plug OUT. Now, I see this; the people that had the plugs out are screw**, and the peeps that kept them in, are probably fine. Just a little (or a lot of) rain water.
Go Figure!
