Did your brother buy the boat, or did you talk him out of it?

If he is new to boating, he may be better off with a production boat until he determines his likes and dislikes. Also it is a good place to learn his boating skills.
Best of luck to him, and I think it is neat if you share in his excitement.

My brother bought a Larson 22 footer at the SD Boat Show. I tried an intervention but it didn't work :( Friggin' bonehead....

It's called "tough love". You needed to kidnap him, and lock him in a Bayliner for a week. He would have come out sweating bullets, and never looked at a productin boat again. :argue:
