I got the newboating life magazine yesterday and ran across this on pontoon boats.2005 playcraft 32 foot twin 496ho pontoon boat.sure is alot of money but its nice to see what can be done on pontoon boats ,its pretty bada$$.check out the video.http://www.boatinglifemag.com/article_content.jsp?ID=35027

That bottom must slow that thing down. I would think that thing was light and with 2 496's, only 67 top speed??? WTF?

I was actually wondering about that myself? I remember Party Cats boat and it seems barely 10 wide? :confused:

i also have a 25ft premier pontoon with a 115hp johnson and it does about 24-26mph not to bad but i think your right the bottom sure slows things down and it is a very light boat.they really dont come to plane that much if at all.

Yeah, my 30 Victory with the same motors pushes a little over 80 and weighs probably twice as much.

DAMN, that boat is huge, one can throw quite the party on that thing. How long would 50 gal of fuel last with twin 496HO's?

DAMN, that boat is huge, one can throw quite the party on that thing. How long would 50 gal of fuel last with twin 496HO's?
That was tested with 50 gals of fuel,the tank hold 146 gals.thats alot of weight.
