View Full Version : Cheap GOV 700 cu in. Donovans abound...

Some of you may appreciate this.
I stumbled across these short blocks by total accident yesterday.
Donovan HC-700 Strontium raised cam short blocks used going anywhere from $700 -$1400 at goverment auction. I will assume these were in typical gofast boats and were at the end of their "service life" stint. Thats all I know. I did notice that the intake rails at the front and rear of the block look like they were raised for maybe hemi type heads..? :idea: I have no idea but uh somebody could make out like a bandit I think... They have the mount plates and oil pans still in place.Take a look. Auction ends soon.

It's that heavy government aluminum. Or it may be a conspiracy. Better get Blown472 in here to determine what's really going on. :D

If it were a Dodge I would have SEVERAL of them here to pick from.
They bought K cars in the 80s, why cant they buy big blocks. Bastards.
