I am posting this message from another site. Its a small gesture to make a little girl have a bit a happiness.
Hi guys. This past Saturday, a little girl (7th grader at Banquete J.H.), Katie Wernecke, that goes to church here @ Agua Dulce Baptist Church, was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Possibly 4th stage already.
She is in Driscol Children's hospital undergoing more testing and starting Chemotherapy. She's a very sick little girl. She desperately needs our prayers.
Our church has done something really cool to help cheer her up. They've set her up with a "Prayer Pager" and a map of the U.S.
What we're asking you to do is: Every time you say a prayer for Katie, call her pager at 361-333-KATY (5289).
You'll get a message that says something like: Hi this is the Agua Dulce Baptist Church Prayer Pager for Katy. Please punch in your zip code followed by the # sign.....
When she gets your page, she'll know where the prayer's coming from and she'll mark it on her map! Bro. Keith's wife, Debbie said they were there today and watched the smiles on her face every time her pager went off and while she wrote down the zip code and plotted it on her map.
So lets bring a bit of happiness to Katie.
