Bose Surround System

Looking to buy a Bose surround system. Can someone tell me if it is worth the $3,000.
I like the sounds that one hears in the showroom, but I'm thinking that may not be the sounds I would get at home.

Never had a home one, but have had them in my autos, best I have ever owned.
Had a 1993 300z and it had 4 1 inch speakers, you would swear I had a big ass system.
have it in my 05 cheby duramax and it rocks
also in the 05 vette and it is even better.
I think they are worth it.....

Bose is great, but before you committ, check out Onkyo and Harmin Kardin (sp) as well. The quality I think is just as good for 1/3 the price.
But, then again, Bose wouldn't be Bose if it wasn't one of the best.

Bose is all highs and no lows! There are a ton of better product other than Bose, they just have an excellent marketing program. Ask anyone in the audio video industry. But get whatever sounds good to you. :D

There are better systems for the money but it depends on what you like since you are the one that has to live with it

We sell a few of Bose Homestuff, but alot of others are better for the money. If you need that small- O K Automobile Bose Yea.

I like my HK but I just installed a Bose system for a customer & it sounded pretty good. Had to order longer cables to conceal everything. The ones they give you in the kits are pretty short.

I use to have the Bose system and I thought it was pretty good. That is untill I got a real surround system and could really hear the difference. Call Shellys Stereo in Woodland Hills. They have all the great systems.
