I'm trying to get rid of the Cole hydro my dad crashed
Here's the details:
Cole Hydro - light lay up center steering
12-degree polished Casale with whril-a-way and lightened 48's (or 50-somethings, can't remember)
Outboard steering
drive shaft and cover
1 1/8 prop shaft
rudder
rail kit - everythings anodized blue
strut and whip strut
seat
battery box
new paint
Tandem axle trailer - removeable tongue - with KMC chrome rims and chrome fenders
The crash took about 3" off the tip of the left front sponson, opened the seam between the deck and side from the rear of the sponson back to the motor, and put a hole right next to the motor on the side and in the floor about 2 1/2' long. The paint was brand new and we only got 10 runs on it until before he crashed. Besides fixing the hull, all it needs is a new steering bar and a motor. There are some pics of it in my gallery before it was crashed (pics (http://www.***boat.com/image_center/showgallery.php?ppuser=540&cat=500)). At the end of this message are a few pics I took that day with my camera phone.
Since my dad passed away as a result of the crash, we needs to get rid of this thing. Would like to get $4000 outta it. Please pass the word along to anyone you might know may be interested. PM me or email: patm@village.gurnee.il.us if interested. Thanks

I am sorry to hear about your Dad.
It hits me close to home because I was looking at that boat when it was for sale out here. In '98 or '99?
My condolences to you and your family.
Brian

Late August on the Rock River in Beloit. We were testing and tuning. We think he hit something underwater which locked up the steering and then hit caught a stump with the left side of the boat. He was ejected and I was the first to him. He ended up in the emergency room that night for about 5 hours and was released with nothing but a broken arm and a cut on his chin, we thought. A week later he passed very quickly as a result of a small tear in his heart that went undetected.

Thanks for all the kind words guys!
For anyone that might be interested, I took about 50 pics yesterday and put them in my gallery (P-Money Gallery (http://www.***boat.com/image_center/showgallery.php?ppuser=540&cat=500)).
Everything you see, goes with the boat, including motor mounts and Nicson polished motor mounts. The mounts are still on the motor and therefore I didn't get any pics. They are in good shape, but could stand to be polished again.

Jerry Toliver use to race that boat. It was called "Chemical Dependency". Sometime in the 90"s

Still called "Chemical Dependency" I may be coming to southern CA next weekend, so I could drop the boat off there if someone were interested. Just some food for thought.
Thanks for the info BrokinRudder.

Did I mention I'm coming to CA next week or the week after. I'll bring the boat to southern CA (Palmdale or Van Nuys areas) for no charge. Although, with that deal the price stays at $4000.
