Is it possible to get in and out of the little harbor? I was there last weekend & the water seemed too low. We wanted to eat lunch at the restaurant but I did not want to chance running up on a sandbar. We went from Havasu Springs all the up there last Saturday, great ride, just a little chilly. FEW BOATS on the lake.

Water level on the upper river is very low right now. Try back next month.

I've never had a problem, and I've seen bigger boats or deep vee's in there.

I don't think I could have got my boat in there last time I was up. We went to the beach at Moabi & the channel looked like Disneyland. That was before New Years.

There filling Lake Mead and Lake Powell so the water is slowed down in the river. I was in Laughlin for the race this weekend it looked like you could just walk acrossed the river.

I wouldn't worry about the channel there as much as the ramp! We sucked rocks there and even having not done that, would have played hell getting our 20' boat out. We had to physically lift the front of the boat up to get the nose above the v-bumper. It's that steep. That was in the afternoon in August.

Here's a pic of the ramp at Jack Smith in Needles, just a few miles upriver from Topac-Topock-twopuck-towpac etc. I took this pic off of our patio. It gets really low sometimes.
Look closely and you can see that this boat is still on the trailer. Some guy tried to launch in about 10 inches of water. Sunk the trailer to the axles and needed 2 trucks to get it out.
If this boat belongs to someone on the boards, I'm sorry. Don't mean to make fun of you. BTW, thaks for the chuckle that day.
