Another fine example of how people on here help each other out...As most of us know we in cal have been slammed with rain seemed like 40 days and 40 night's. I didn't get through it untouched though. Long Story cut short major water damage in my dining room...the hardwood floor is shot.
I had an idea where the water was coming in from put couldnt figure out how to stop it. Through another thread on here I found 21Daytona. I contacted him and he offered to come out and check it out for me. We set up a time and at 0700 he drove up, right on time. He scoped out the area found the probable leak and advised me on how to fix it and gave me advise on where to install a drain. "John" even crawled under the house to check. When he got ready to leave John gave me some repair materials and wished me a great day. John refused payment for his expertise or for driving out here. I live a good 1-1 1/2 hour away from him and he just came out to help a fellow boater and we weren't even on the water.
You dont meet people like this every day so if you ever get a chance to meet him say hey.
And of course if you ever need any waterproofing done give him a call. He's honest, professional, punctual and of course a boater.
Just thought I'd share with you all.

Class act on 21daytonas part. Badger301 you might also want to keep an eye out for any mold growth. Water + drywall does'nt mix well.

John helped me out too :) Seemed like a real cool dude. Told me everything I needed to do and even offered to come back when I was doing the work.
