Anyone get a price yet on the Corvette zo6 (427 cu in/500hp)?

Any price quotes yet? Any deals on the '06 zo6?
Anything that is available not listed in the brochures?
This has been common in GM performance cars over the decades. Pays to research.
Also, I notice what looks like plastic gears propelling the water pump. Perhaps coming off the camshaft.
Has GM done this before? How is the reliability of this method?

The new 05's are flirting with $60 not even fully equipped.
The $45k base price 05 Vette is pretty sparsly equipped.

I have heard 62Kfor the Z06 now add your options and you are at just over 70K, IM GUESSING on that.
Now the over 60K is true, because there are people who were paying the dealer an extra 5 to 7K to sell them the car, DUMBASSES :hammerhea

I have a list going at work. We will sell them at M.S.R.P. not over. I have also heard the 62k number but can't comfirm right now on the 05 coupe they are 45k - 53k 2 in stock converts are having a problem with the power folding top and might not produce anymore as 05's

Nice car,a good friend of mine has a c5 with a pro charger setup on it,motor work and still runs on 91 pump gas.He cant wait to run one of the new 06 zo6's.

The two ' 05 hardtop 'Vettes sitting on the showroom floor at Gwinn in Glendale are $63 K on the stock Marony sticker (factory window), plus a 12K markup side sticker=$72k asking.
I did a "build your own" on the Chevy site, and the 05 came out to low $60's.
I'm not talking the zo6, just the 400 hp '05 version.
Not one salesperson on the floor had a clue about anything related to 'Vettes.
