I have a set of edelbrock thru transom and just purchased a set of bassett twisters off ebayy for 200.00 yeah 200.00. My question is what type of rpm gain can i exspect i have a stock 454 ho with torker2 intake hei ignition berkley with ride plate drop snout place diverter and b impeller i currently turn 5100 at around 62 mph i'm also installing a solid lift edelbrock cam and lifters. Should i switch to the bassett or stick with the thru transom.
Thanks

I would go with headers, I had logs on my BBF 460, and when I added the headers it did pick up some rpms. I'm also running a "B" impeller, rpms went from 5000 to 5500, but I also added roller rockers at the same time as the exhaust upgrade.

I would also go with the headers! They are always a gain in horsepower over the log style. The logs are just like a cars stock exhaust manifold, they suck when it comes to flow, SO headers all the way!!!!!!!!!
