ive heard up to 500hp, but i would'nt bet the farm on my info!

I've run mine w/ ~650 no problem. I've been told by a "reputable" source they can run up to about 700. It's when they unload and load again that's a problem. Can't handle the shock.

Berkely says 500 hp. I think it depends on how fast you are spinning it. I know a lot of people running high HP engines with an aluminum impeller but wouldn't recomend it. I would say you can do more than Berk reccomends. They have a big safety factor built in.

I ran a stock 1994 Dominator "AA" with 700+ on the motor and right at 1000hp on the bottle for 2+ years. BUT, the pump was allways loaded and the boat(21 Daytona) didn't get airborne. When I put the Aggressor stuff in, the old impeller looked almost new. No burn or erosion at all. If you have a load problem you can kill an aluminum impeller in 1 day, if you have HP! TIMINATOR

Most of outr boats would have more to worry about than the impeller after hitting a sand bar! :confused:

The boat went over the sandbar...... I was on the slalom ski behind it, stuck that sumbiatch and over I went. Still trying to figure that one out..... mebbie if I blueprinted the bottom of the ski.... P.S. my motor mph is UP! TIMINATOR

thanks for the info guys, i'm making around 400 now, boat speed is 66 on a gps gonna buy a new set of heads and go with a tunnell ram looking for 500hp and 70mph :D
