okay guys..........I will tell ya but it takes all the fun out of it..its a mathmatical puzzle based on functions of the number 9. The symbles keep changing to throw you off but it always ends up with a multiple of 9. It took me an hour but there it is. It was fun while it lasted.

Yes if you look the symbols when you try it again the symbols next to the number change. It's a good trick....

Adding all digits in your answer together will be a multiple of nine. So with out the circled number you add your numbers together and then figure out which number will make it a multiple of nine.
so if the answer is 243 with the 3 circled:
so if they give you a 2 and a 4 that ='s 6. And you have to have a 3 to make it a multile of nine (6+3=9) so the circled number is a 3.

Huh?? I kind of get it, but not really. Why when you jumble up the numbers and subtract, is it always divible by 9??
