Anyone been to pyramid or castaic lately?

I usually go to piru , but I hear they are still closed. Was wondering if the other lakes are open and clear yet?

From what I was told, it will be at least a month or more before Piru opens. 1/3 of the lake is full of debris, and the road to the lake is still washed out. Check out the thread "Paging Mr and Mrs Raff" for info on Castaic. A bunch of peeps went there last weekend

Yea, it's doable at Castaic. The water was really brown and the shore is muddy but still we had a good time.

Castaic was doable but it will be a woodchopping trip. Alot of floaters last weekend and the water is the same color as Buena Vista :)
