There was a guy on here who had a problem getting his boat finished. He bitched to Clifff and got a whole bunch of extras thrown in to make up for it.
This guy just got his a couple weeks ago.

It is a 2002 Caliber 1 2300 Silencer with the 320hp 6.2 that has 90 hours... Last november I had hull damage, I turned it into the insurance and they wrote a check for 20K for a new hull. Caliber 1 laid up a brand new hull (2005) and rigged the new hull with the existing Motor and interior. I havent had the hull in the water yet. just picked it up on the 25th of Jan. Probably going to go next weekend to play with it. It has new carpet as expected with an entire new hull... I am asking 42.5K but would let it go for 40K or best offer... As far as options, here are a few. Elect Motor hatch, 2 batts, Stereo w 2 amps and 2 subs, 2 fuel tanks 26 ga each, IMCO Superfuel valve, Bimini, Cover, Extreme trailer tandem...

We had no problems at all. A little slow on getting us paperwork. But some people on the boards have had to wait longer then anticipated for their new boats. But from what I have heard it was sort of made up to them.

I cannot really divulge anything but I know they have a couple lawsuits against them, I beleive the last owners, who ripped a couple of people off!

On a perfect day two people and half tank GSP said 71 but it was a scary ride, It felt like there only one foot of boat in the water. The Scorpion is 2 to 3 hundred pounds less than the 496 I figured I could get almost the same performance but use less gas also the blue motor look great did I say it looks great.

I agree... ive been in the velocity... It can get lite with rough water... I like "The blue motors" Also... I'm putting a 525 in my new one...
