Hey Blown I was just curious if you had to do anything to the 454 mag before you put the blower on it. I have the same motor and I was just wondering how strong the bottom end is on them. Also how fast did it run before and after the blower. Thanks

Did nothing to the bottom, that motor had a good bottom in it already, Did some minor head work and upgraded the valve train. So far i havent been able to get the right prop for it yet but it runs right now 84 on GPS If i had a shorter lower unit on it and maybe an intercooler it would run 90's all day long, but i think i will save the money for the next boat.
