There have been a couple of threads over the years here in the v-drive forums regarding this boat. I couldn't find them via a search though. Anybody else able to dig one up?

I missed the old threads about that boat. My kids and I have tried to figure out what hull it is. I saw a banner in the background in the boat scene that said, "Schiada Boats." I thought it was their way of advertising the boat. Was it a Shiada?

Miller Custom Boat.
It was a 19' all-glass Miller flatbottom, about 3 years old when the movie was made. And the boat got thrashed when they made the movie. Ran it up on shore among other things.
YEP, That's Roman's alright! Somtime's you'll see his brother Chet taking it out for a spin.

Do a search for it here but I believe someone said there were 3 boats. Not sure though.

He does know a lot about v-drives but I think Brodie has him covered hands down. That Brodie dude is a smart thinker guy.

With all the restrations the Miller guys are doing I am suprised they have not wanted to recreate this infamous boat.
If some one really owns it and it is in good shape it would be a great feature in Hot Boat mabey this is where Mike is taking it?
I have watched that movie so many times no one will watch it with me anymore.
Oh, he wants to go faster :D

Yes it was, several of Bass lake's attractions were centerpieces of the movie.
