View Full Version : My New Lavey Deck Right Of Of The Mold

I just got back from lavey to see my new lavey deck out of the mold. They are going to pre rig everything before it goes to Dick Vale in Fullerton for the Badass custom paint job. Lavey is doing a all white boat so Dick Vale can put his killer paint job and graffix that i have drawn up on it. It will be there for a month to a month and a half for all the custom graffics and paint. Now that i have seen it out of the mold im really getting excited.So i took some pics.I tried to upload them but couldnt.Is there anyone that i can email to so they can post them for me,thanks.

So it will be paint and not gel? How will the paint be protected? A few coats of clear? :confused:

The boat will be paint not gel coat. Lavey count do the gel coat because of the crazy graffics that will be going on it,simular to the outerlimits boats.the paint will have lots of clear over it to protect it.

Does the paint tend to fade quicker if it's in the gel or on top of the gel?

Is hard to discribe.there will be alot of pearls and burnt orange,yellows,whites,purples,cheetah,air brushing,fades,some really sick shit on it. some will wrap into the cock pit area.
