Im not set up for top end, you know that. Im gonna get out in front pretty damn fast though. PS thats 136.2 sucker with 1.35's and 34P 6 Blades with no problems hitting the rev limiters. I run out of prop with my current set up. If I go with the DCB top number set up, god only knows how fast she will go after she gets towed up on plane. To bad I got bravo's anything over 130 and I start to get that funny feeling in the bottom of my gut.

Not true. We did this one and from what I understand, right now the thing is doing about 105-110 after being dialed in. Since we do not do a lot of outboards, the setup is the tricky part.

I know this is the last year of the 300x, has anyone heard #s on the new Optimax motors, i think there 250s? Just curious, were looking to put some on our 27 soon, make it more salt water friendly. I know on the 2.5s you have to premix, and no one wants a 100gallon dirtbike.

Never said V bottoms rule, but in the right conditions a good V (Cig) will smoke a cat. This will be my fourth cat though and it will be nice to be running ove 100 again. That first ocean run might be a little scary though after the Cig!! :D :cool:
